“The fuel for the fire on the Day of Resurrection is all rich people who refrain from granting their wealth to the poor and all scholars who sell their faith for this world.”

الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام:
وَقودُ النّارِ يَومَ القِيامَةِ كُلُّ غَنِيٍّ بَخِلَ بِمالِهِ عَلَى الفُقَراءِ ، وكُلُّ عالِمٍ باعَ الدّينَ بِالدُّنيا.

امام على عليه ‏السلام:
سوخت آتش روز قيامت، هر توانگرى است كه از بخشيدن مال خويش به تهى‏دستان بخل ورزد، و نيز هر عالمى كه دين را به دنيا بفروشد.
